Dr. Afsar Pasha is a highly skilled interventional cardiologist with 5 years of specialized experience in the field. He completed his DNB residency in Cardiology at Manipal Hospital, Airport Road, Bangalore, where he received rigorous training in both clinical and interventional cardiology. He further honed his expertise as an Associate Consultant in Interventional Cardiology at Fortis Hospital, Cunningham Road, Bangalore, from December 2022 to February 2024.Dr. Afsar Pasha has an extensive procedural portfolio, having performed approximately 500 diagnostic angiograms and over 200 coronary angioplasty procedures. His technical skills extend to complex coronary interventions, including IVUS and OCT guided angioplasty, rota-ablation, and IVL guided coronary angioplasty. He is proficient in FFR and IFR guided coronary procedures and has executed temporary pacemaker insertions, IABP insertions, and pericardiocentesis with precision.In addition to his work in coronary interventions, Dr. Afsar Pasha has assisted in a variety of structural heart interventions, such as ASD, VSD, PDA, and paravalvular leak device closures.
